COOL: Reruns of Fringe and Glee With Twitter Commentary.

fringeThere are many ways to use Twitter (Twitter), but not all of them are equally great. Sometimes, however, we hear about an idea which sounds just perfect for the microblogging wonder of the world. Example: Fox and Twitter have teamed up for the reruns of popular TV series Fringe and Glee, which will go together with tweet-peats; meaning the cast members and the producers will tweet their thoughts and comments during the episodes.

If you’re a true fan, there’s no better thing; seeing what the people involved in the creation of the series thought about certain moments in an episode can be lots of fun. On the other hand, it’s a lot easier to do for the cast than to record overvoice commentary on top of the DVD edition – the way it’s usually done. Plus, it’s interactive: cast members will also answer fan questions, and fans will be able to follow Twitter streams online, or on-air, in a scroll at the bottom of the screen.

To follow these tweet-peats, and ask questions, go to twitter.com/FRINGEonFOX and twitter.com/GLEEonFOX.
